About
Come join Engaged Defenders for Democracy as we cover bridges across the Triangle and beyond with messages about peace, unity, and defending our Constitution. Bring your friends! Every third Saturday of the month, we gather to show that we are not going away, we are not backing down, and we support our neighbors and workers. Drivers love to see us and our signs as they drive under about 20 overpasses in Durham, Raleigh, Apex, Morrisville, Pittsboro, and Chapel Hill. As part of Operation Overpass, other organizations are doing the same in over 20 states! Check the sign-up genius to see which bridges are currently committed for this month and to register. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A054AAEA82EA5FE3-59337908-triangle Please bring American flags and smaller signs if there are cars and pedestrians on the bridge you choose. You can also bring other flags such as Pride, Black Votes Matter, Earth, Ukraine, etc. Please join our Substack: https://substack.com/profile/115484101-engaged-defenders-4-democracy For more ED4D Mobilize Events: https://www.mobilize.us/engagedefendersfordemocracy/ Have accessibility questions?
