About
Stand Up Lorain County is a community-based group focused on bringing people together to stay informed, support one another, and participate in the civic life of our community. We create opportunities for neighbors to connect through peaceful gatherings, community conversations, and local action centered on shared values of respect, inclusion, and care for one another. Our goal is to encourage thoughtful engagement, strengthen community relationships, and help residents feel empowered to have a voice in issues that affect our county and beyond. This a local Indivisible event! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
