Protest against MARL Transmission Lines & Data Centers
Thursday, June 4, 2026, 12:00 PM EDT
Sidewalk in front of Mon. Co. BOE building in Sabraton, Morgantown, West Virginia
About
The MARL Transmission Lines and massive data centers trying to move into our area will cause damage to our land, our water, our quality of living, our utility prices, and so much more. Our citizens should have a say in what happens in our communities, and these things should be under local control. Stand up with us in this fight! Bring signs that say "Honk if..." and fill in the blank with things like: – If you don’t want data centers – If you don’t want transmission lines – To say no to MARL – If citizens should have a say – To save our land and resources – To preserve our water – To keep utility bills down We'll be on the sidewalk in front of the Monongalia County Schools Board of Education building in Sabraton, Morgantown, WV. That address is 1751 Earl Core Road, Morgantown, WV 26505. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
