About
Join us on Saturday, 7/11 in Mequon from 10-11am for an ICE Out Protest honoring Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a father of 3 boys and had lived in the US for over 35 years. He spent decades building houses across Houston and had worked hard and was very close to achieving legal status. He was shot and killed by ICE agents on his way to work on Wednesday, July 7th. We will be dedicating this protest to demanding justice for Lorenzo, holding ICE agents accountable, and demanding the immediate end of the targeting and terrorizing of immigrants throughout the US. Join Ozaukee Indivisible in Mequon on Saturday July 11th from 10-11am. Gather at Northeast Corner of Mequon Rd/Cedarburg Rd (Park in City Hall lot). Be sure to check out our website and join our email list so you can stay up to date on all future protests and community events! https://ozaukeeindivisible.org/get-involved/ Ozaukee Indivisible is committed to nonviolent civic engagement. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at our events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
