About
This a local Indivisible event! June 14 is T***p's birthday. It is also Flag Day. And, sadly, it’s the day on which the “UFC Freedom 250” event will be held on the South Lawn of the White House. Ugh!!! The prelims are scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. CDT, while the main event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. CDT. And one can only imagine all of the ways in which the current occupant will try to hog the spotlight on June 14. The Bartlett Resistance and the Wayne Township Democracy Defenders aren't going to let that happen here in Bartlett. We plan to get out, bring our signs, and show what real patriotism is. Please join us, regardless of whether you live in Bartlett, Hanover Park, Streamwood, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, Roselle, Itasca, Elgin, South Elgin, West Chicago, Carol Stream, Wheaton, Chicago, or somewhere else! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
