Democracy & government Took place
Beach Traffic Banner Party!
Sunday, June 14, 2026, 10:00 AM PDT
Campbell, California
About
Friends of Democracy and foes of Fascism, we will gather on an overpass on Hwy 17 in full view of the high volume of traffic headed to the beaches in Santa Cruz. We will install large pro Democracy and anti ICE banners. Since June 14th is Flag Day and is also tRump's Birthday; we will be wishing him an unhappy birthday as well. If you have costumes, please wear them! If you have content you would like to hang also, you are welcome! If you have your own flags, bring them (we will have a few on long poles). With music playing and flags flying, we will demonstrate joyful courage in the face of fascism and have our message in front of thousands of people heading to the beach. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
