Our next Burleson protest is on **Sunday, June 14 -- Flag Day**! We will stand up and raise our voices in defense and celebration of our First Amendment rights. Bring your Stars & Stripes and your clever signs, and wear your red, white, and blue! Organized by Johnson-Hill County Young Dems at our usual Burleson location, on the sidewalks and the grass in front of the John Jones Wells Fargo, 100 NW John Jones Dr, Burleson, TX 76028. Time: 1-3PM As usual, we will do a mini food-drive at this event. Any nonperishable foods or personal-care items that you would like to bring for donation will be taken to local food pantries including Crowley House of Hope and the East Cleburne Community Center. Please don't park in the Wells Fargo lot unless mobility issues dictate that you park close. The lot is small, and we must leave it open for bank customers who come to use the ATM. There is ample free public parking in the Target lot and behind Taste of Asia. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
