About
Join 50501 Central Oregon June 13th, 2:30pm to 3:30pm at Peace Corner (corner of Newport and Wall Streets, Bend) for... RISE UP, SING OUT! Communities all over the country are hosting watch parties on Sunday (https://riseupsingout.com/), but we're gathering SATURDAY, June 13th to warm up, RISE UP, SING OUT at Peace Corner, Bend 2:30pm to 3:30pm! Join us for rabble rousing, drumming, and yes, SINGING! Bring your voice! America has a long history, rooted in white supremacy, of suppressing the rights of people of color. But our history also clearly shows that people-powered movements are how we end authoritarianism. Authoritarians want fear, silence, and isolation. We choose joy. We choose community. We choose people power. Rise Up, Sing Out is something inclusive, participatory, and rooted in care for one another. Join us!
