About

Weโ€™re sick and tired of violence perpetrators and sexual predators not being held accountable - from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal to your neighborhood pedophile down at the corner store who has custody of his child rape victim. โ€œOccupy Main Streetโ€ gives a platform for neighborhood communities to protest against injustices that disenfranchise children and victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. Five children die every day from child abuse. Family Court and Social Services remove children from innocent protective mothers. There is an irrecoverably grievous failure of our own government to protect innocent children. The United States of America is the only industrialized nation in the world not to have ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Public Officials are too busy making money off of abusing and exploiting children to consider the effects of their depraved actions on future generations. Event details & information: https://amorr.us/occupy-main-street-event-description-june-2026 --- KINGSTON - Occupy Main Street is calling attention to what organizers describe as a continuing child protection crisis, citing family-court practices that can place children with abusive parents, low conviction rates in sexual abuse cases, and systemic barriers facing protective caregivers. The organization says the demonstration is intended to demand accountability, public awareness, and policy change for children and victims of abuse. We rise from exhaustion into resolveโ€”Weโ€™re done with violence, done with predators, done with the silence that shields them. From the glare of headline scandals to the shadows of neighborhood harm, Occupy Main Street becomes a living voice for communities demanding justice for children and for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and abuse of children. The Crisis โ€ข Five children die every day from child abuse in the United States โ€” a heartbreaking daily toll that should shake every conscience โ€ข More than 58,000 children per year are ordered to live with their abusers by family courts nationwide โ€” a verdict that turns safety into tragedy โ€ข The U.S. is the only industrialized nation that has not ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child โ€” a silence that echoes loudly across the world โ€ข Only 2% of sexual abuse reports are false, yet victims are routinely treated as if they're lying โ€” disbelief becoming its own wound โ€ข Police convict sexual predators only 2% of the time โ€” accountability slipping through the cracks too often โ€ข There is a fatherhood.gov, but there is no motherhood.gov โ€” a glaring omission in a system that claims balance Systemic Failures A deep bias shadows the lives of victims, especially women and children, and too often the system turns its gaze away from the harm while turning its force on those who speak it aloud. Law enforcement and authorities too frequently punish the wounded instead of the ones who wounded them. Family courts, at times alongside the state department of social services, sever children from protective mothers who dare to report abuse, then send those children back into the arms of danger. When fathers are accused in family court, protective mothers lose custody at devastating rates. These are not isolated errorsโ€”they are a catastrophic failure to safeguard the vulnerable. Our Mission The government was created for the people by the people. We, the people of the United States, are the fourth branch of government, and as such, the only voice to balance unchecked powers when our lawmakers, elected officials, and legal system break laws, violate the Constitution, engage in insurrection under color of law and fail to uphold our basic human rights - which are being systemically eroded by the people in power. We are protective mothers, victimized children, and concerned citizens united to support the abused, silenced, oppressed, trafficked, the enslaved, and exploited. We must not tolerate the continued victimization of the most vulnerable in our communities. We demand an overhaul of public policy and practices that place victims at risk of continued harm. We take to the streets to demand accountability from both individual perpetrators and the authorities who fail to protect victims. What We Do โ€ข Create local neighborhood watchdog chapters to give voice to the voiceless โ€ข Organize peaceful demonstrations to raise awareness โ€ข Support non-violent resistance and civil disobedience against unlawful and unjust court orders โ€ข Hold abusers accountable through community action and public outcry โ€ข Advocate for children's rights and justice for victims There is power in numbers! If we come together, we can drive change & bring healing & hope to the future generation. It all begins inside the home. Rise up in the name of children's rights and justice for victims. โœŠ Support This Movement Your support helps sustain a movement built to endureโ€”fueling advocacy, covering legal fees, securing bases, andโ€ฆ
