About
## The Fourth Anniversary of the Overturning of Roe v. Wade Join the ***WA Handmaids Coalition*** in commemorating the fourth anniversary of the overturning of Roe v. Wade with a visible show of support for women’s rights, reproductive freedom, and bodily autonomy. While Washington State continues to protect access to reproductive healthcare, millions across the country face growing restrictions on abortion care and other essential services. This anniversary is a reminder that the fight for equality and bodily autonomy is far from over. As part of the ***National Handmaid Coalition’s nationwide day of action***, we are calling for the full restoration of reproductive rights across the United States and renewed commitment to equality under the law. ***Together, we demand:*** - Federal recognition of the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment - That congress passes federal legislation codifying the protections that Roe v. Wade once guaranteed - That congress ‘re-fund’ Planned Parenthood & federal Medicaid Whether you are a longtime activist or newly engaged, your presence matters. Bring your signs, banners, and voices as we line Capitol Way to raise awareness, inspire action, and stand in solidarity with those whose rights are under attack. ***What:*** Remembering Roe Olympia Sign-Waving Action with the WA Handmaids Coalition ***When:*** Saturday, June 20, 2026 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM ***Where:*** West side of Capitol Way, in front of the Tivoli Fountain, Olympia, WA ### We won’t go back.
