In Front of City Hall, Novato, California
About
We're going back to our roots! We're now going to meet in front of City Hall, our original meeting spot, at De Long and Sherman. Our name is We the People Novato! Bring a sign or borrow one of ours! _This is a no-host event. An ad hoc group of citizen volunteers are facilitating this opportunity for Marin residents to peacefully and safely assemble in line with their First Amendment rights._ _A core principle behind all Marin protest events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events._ _All participants agree to assume 100% responsibility for their own safety, conduct and well-being. Please review this guide, “How To Protest Safely” in advance: https://www.nrdc.org/stories/how-protest-safely._
