About
Join us THIS Saturday, June 27 as we host a county-wide Day of Action where we’ll be talking to voters all across the county to make sure we are ready to win in August. No matter your skill level or volunteer experience, we need as many people as possible to sign up. We’ll meet at 9am at the Putnam County Democratic Party headquarters (111 N. Cedar Ave. Cookeville, TN, 38501), get a brief tutorial on how to knock doors, and then pair up into teams to go talk to voters all across the county. And if you’ve never canvassed before - don’t worry. It’s super fun, and we’ll make sure you’re paired with experienced volunteers so you won’t be alone. We’ll also have lunch and dinner for everyone involved. Knocking doors is the absolute best way to win elections, and if we can talk to enough voters, we will be able to win in August. But we’ll only win if we can get people like you to show up - so please, join us Saturday, and let’s win this thing.
