About
Gather with us: Sunday, July 5, 2026 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM 2251 North Road Hampton Bays, NY 11946 As our nation marks the 250th Anniversary of the United States, join us in reflecting on what this milestone truly represents: a commitment to liberty, democracy, justice, and the Constitution that protects our freedoms. The Declaration of Independence announced America's ideals. The Constitution established the framework that allows those ideals to endure. As citizens, it is our responsibility to defend and strengthen both. What to bring: Food donations to stock local food pantries. Solidarity begins at home; let’s support our neighbors in need while we fight for justice. A chair – so you can stay the full time and remain comfortable. Sunscreen, TICK SPRAY, and water – protect yourself from the elements. Anything else you need to remain safe, hydrated, and visible (hats, signs, etc.). The 250th Anniversary is more than a celebration of our past—it is a reminder of our responsibility to the future. Honor the Constitution. Defend Democracy. Keep the Promise of America. All are welcome. Ideas of signs you can make bring to event: ***250 Years of Freedom—Now It's Our Turn*** ***Honor the Constitution, Defend Democracy*** ***The Promise of America Belongs to All of Us*** ***250 Years Later: Liberty Requires Vigilance*** ***Patriotism Means Protecting Democracy*** This is a local indivisible event brought to you by IndivisibleLI.org Follow our full calendar of events: IndivisibleLI.org/calendar Merch to wear your values: IndivisibleLI.org/shop Follow us on Facebook: Facebook.com/IndivisibleLongIsland Donate to fuel the fight: http://tiny.cc/u830101 Help us keep showing up - your donation funds the events that will mobilize voters in 2026 and the elections ahead. Please be specific about important details and include anything a first time attendee, or new group member, might find helpful! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
