About
On Monday 6/29 5-6:30pm join us on the 7th street pedestrian bridge in Long Beach to spell out PROTEST IS A RIGHT NOT CRIME and COURT REFORM NOW. These overpass messages are motivated by disturbing trends and recent Federal Prosecutions and Supreme Court rulings: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jun/23/prairieland-ice-protesters-texas-sentenced https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jun/25/supreme-court-immigration-rulings Bring flags, inflatable animal costumes and wave to passing vehicles, or drive by to wave and honk in support. You can also learn some resistance songs and sing with us on the pedestrian bridge! Check out these singing resistance resources 🎶✊ https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iSgUV8UvIjKL7W2nAGoiR-7h5DUnFfRo A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
