Resist Fascism Sarasota - 73rd Straight Weekly Rally

Tuesday, August 25, 2026, 9:00 AM EDT
Sarasota, Florida

About

Join us for our 73rd straight weekly rally in Sarasota to resist fascism, get ICE off our streets, and support Social Security. Meet like-minded people who are standing up for our rights. Help save the Social Security we paid for and our families are paying for. ------------------------------------------------ * No Trump “ICE GOONS” in SARASOTA Schools! * No concentration camps! * No kidnapping of innocent people! ------------------------------------------------ NO MONEY for an illegal war! Release the Epstein files. This is a local, Sarasota-based, grassroots rally by Indivisible Sarasota. WE ARE SEEN BY 2,500-3,000 VEHICLES EACH WEEK! We meet outside the Social Security office, at the intersection of Siesta Drive and South Tamiami Trail. (see map) The big sign there is for the restaurant, Flemings. The rally is in the shade and during morning rush hour, so it will be relatively cool but with a lot of visibility. Parking is right across Siesta Drive in the empty shopping mall parking lot. By persisting week after week, we are showing the people of Sarasota that we are in this for the long term and will persevere as long as necessary. Expect lots of supportive honking of horns. Bring your own sign about Social Security or any other topic related to the resistance against the MAGA attack on our democracy. See you there!
