About
Please join your neighbors to celebrate 250 YEARS OF FIGHTING TYRANNY! That will be our main message on July 4 at 10 over The Beltway close to the American Legion Bridge. Flags, signs (large enough to be read from the road is best), costumes, and just waves are welcome! Parking is available at Carderock Springs Elementary School or on Tomlinson Avenue. Please bring lots of water, wear sunscreen, and consider a hat since it will be warm! No restrooms available. There is a sidewalk on the bridge and the ground is relatively flat. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
