Pedestrian Overpass over Highway 156 at Geil Street, Castroville, California
About
Join us this Friday morning at the Castroville Pedestrian Overpass over Highway 156 for a special ICE OUT OF GILROY Bridge Brigade! Bridges throughout the Central Coast will have a unified message protesting the planned ICE detention facility on the outskirts of Gilroy. The bridge is a great way to reach two audiences at once - traffic passing underneath on the highway, and also traffic driving over the bridge to get onto the highway. We get great responses from both! We will have big easy-to-read messages to set up facing the highway, you bring your big smiles and waves for the travelers below.
