Friday, August 14, 2026, 12:00 PM EDT
170 College Ave, Holland, Michigan
About
This August recess, activists across the country are telling their members of Congress - it's too hot to ignore ! We need Congress to prioritize climate solutions NOW. Instead, Rep. Huizenga continues to side with big polluters instead of standing up for Michigan. He supports keeping the outdated Campbell Coal Plant in Holland operating which drives up energy costs and endangers our health. If you are tired of the heat, high energy bills, and pollution from the Campbell Coal Plant, join us outside Rep. Huizenga's office on Aug. 14th at 12 p.m. Make a sign and bring your family & friends! Together we'll say loudly & clearly that Michigan deserves lower energy bills, cleaner air and a healthier climate! **Sign suggestions* Keep Coal Plant Closed Don't Bail Out Coal Coal Makes Us Sick
