Urgent call to action from Union of American Physicians and Dentists, Northern Rockies Labor Council, and Flathead Democracy! Logan Health is terminating the contract of Dr. Ruben Hippolito, a longtime primary care physician in the Flathead who led his colleagues in the effort to unionize under UAPD this past year. Primary Care providers are currently in bargaining with Logan health to improve patient care, but Logan Health would rather play dirty and fire union leaders than listen to their providers advocating for change. This is not only an open threat to collective bargaining but also to our neighbors and families that see primary care providers at Logan Health. Please join us this Tuesday at 6:30pm for a press conference at Logan Health Kalispell to show solidarity with Dr. Hippolito and all of the primary providers fighting for better patient care. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
