About
Join Vermont Democrats at the Hardwick Town House for a Democracy Day of Action on Saturday, July 18th. In the critical 2026 elections, the future of our state depends on us showing up and organizing at the grassroots level. We’re coming together to defend our values, protect our democracy, and elect leaders who will take action to lower the cost of living and expand economic opportunity so every Vermonter can afford to build a life here. The afternoon will be broken into two parts: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Rally at Hardwick Town House: We’ll kick off with a rally featuring Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas, David Roth for Vermont State Senate, Audrey Grant for Vermont State House, and other Democratic candidates. Hear directly from the leaders who are fighting for our state, and get the latest updates on what's at stake this year. 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM Day-of-Action Canvass: Following the rally, we’ll take our message directly to the doors. Canvassing is our most powerful tool for engaging neighbors, identifying voters, and building the "people power" needed to secure our future. Whether you’re a seasoned canvasser or a first-timer, all are welcome! We know that in a state where elections are often decided by single digits, face-to-face conversations are the single most effective way to turn out the vote. Let’s show up for Caledonia County, let’s show up for Vermont, and let’s show up for our democracy.
