Justice for Lorenzo Vigil

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a father, husband and beloved community member. He was killed by ICE in Houston, TX on July 7 on his way to work. Join us for a community vigil honoring Lorenzo. We gather not only to mourn his suffering, but also to demand accountability, transparency, and an end to the violence inflicted on immigrant communities. Every person deserves to live with dignity and without fear of being targeted because of their immigration status. Together, we will lift our voices in solidarity with Lorenzo, his loved ones, and all families impacted by harmful immigration enforcement. Bring a flower, bring a friend, and stand with us as we call for justice, compassion, and lasting change. This is a peaceful event. All ages welcome. We will meet on the corner of Haddon avenue and Cuthbert. Please bring signs (examples): Silence protects injustice. Abolish ICE. Honor Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and all innocent people who have lost their lives due to an unjust and broken system. Every human being deserves dignity.
