About
The Ashburnham Democratic Town Committee (ADTC) will be hosting its monthly third Saturday Stand Out on July 18 from 10AM - 11:30PM on the sidewalk in front of the Ashburnham Town Hall. Our theme this month will be in support of the national John Lewis Good Trouble Lives On weekend, with an emphasis on preserving American voting rights. Please bring signage that supports voting rights in this country. In addition, ADTC will be collecting non-perishable foods for the food pantry. Please bring protein rich food to the standout and we will deliver whatever is donated that morning. A core principle behind all Good Trouble Lives On events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
