Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Early Voting Visibility Event - Charles E. Beatley Library

Ready to Help Get Out the Vote? We've Got You Covered! Join Indivisible Do Something Alexandria for an Early Voting Visibility Event during the Weekends of Action (July 25 – August 1) and help make sure every voter knows it's time to vote! Visibility events are one of the easiest—and most fun—ways to help get out the vote. Volunteers gather in a high-traffic location to create a positive, energetic reminder that **Early Voting is happening now!** We'll stand in a safe, visible location holding colorful signs for people driving by. Think of it as a friendly wave to your community! Drivers often honk, wave, and give a thumbs-up as they pass. Our goal is simple: remind thousands of people that it's time to vote. No experience is needed. We'll provide guidance, and you'll be with other volunteers throughout the event. No sign? No problem! Volunteers who don't have signs can pick one up at the event, or join our Sign Making Party on July 21 to create your own. Full details will be sent after you RSVP. Just RSVP and we'll send you everything you need to know—including the event location, instructions, what to bring and parking details. Whether you're a first-time volunteer or a visibility-event veteran, we'd love to have you join us. Every wave, every sign, and every conversation helps remind our community that every vote matters!
