INDIVISIBLE COBB PROTEST 📍 HEADQUARTERS: Kroger in Pavilions at Eastlake Shopping Plaza, 2100 Roswell Rd, Marietta 30062 🕛 PROTEST HOURS: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM 🚫👑 GET YOUR NO KINGS T-SHIRT ON SITE WITH A $20 DONATION TO INDIVISIBLE COBB We will gather at our designated Indivisible Cobb HQ and provide additional guidance as conditions and security operations develop throughout the day. 📍 PARKING INFORMATION Parking around the protest area will be limited on Roswell Rd, so please plan ahead and allow extra time to find a space. You may park in available public parking areas and spaces along Roswell Road, but please be respectful of local businesses and their customers. Do not block entrances, driveways, or designated parking areas. While you're in the area, we encourage you to support the local businesses that are welcoming our presence. Consider stopping in before or after the protest to purchase a bottle of water, grab something to eat, or patronize a local business. Let's show our community that we can be peaceful, respectful, and good neighbors while making our voices heard. ⚠️ IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BE AT WHEELER HS If you choose to protest in front of Wheeler High School, refer to the White House Communications BELOW for arrival times. We will have volunteer medics and safety marshals on site to support Cobb County Democrats between 12-4p. If you park anywhere on Lower Roswell Rd or Roswell Rd it is over a one-mile walk to the school. WE WOULD ADVISE AGAINST TRYING TO GET ON THE WHITE HOUSE PROVIDED SHUTTLE BUSES. 🛡️ SAFETY & MEDICAL SUPPORT For everyone's safety, Indivisible Cobb safety marshals and volunteer medics will be on site from 12:00 PM–4:00 PM during our official protest hours. If you choose to arrive before 12:00 PM or remain after 4:00 PM, please understand that our safety marshals and medics will not be on site, and you will be responsible for your own safety and well-being during those times. Please plan accordingly, look out for one another, stay hydrated, and follow all safety instructions from event organizers and law enforcement. ✊ PROTEST SAFTEY GUIDELINES: - FIRST AND FOREMOST – THIS IS A PEACEFUL, NONVIOLENT DEMONSTRATION - Do NOT engage with counter protestors for the safety of you and those around you. - Do NOT block sidewalks, driveways or roadways. - Do NOT bring weapons, or anything that could be misconstrued to be a weapon, of any kind. - Do NOT cross any established security perimeters. - Be respectful of and follow all instructions from law enforcement and event organizers. Please remain respectful, follow instructions from law enforcement regarding public safety and access, and be prepared for possible changes to traffic patterns and security perimeters. Continue hydrating, remember to wear sunscreen and bring anything with you that will help you counter the heat. Please try and carpool, if possible. 📚 SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE We will be collecting ONLY NEW/UNUSED SCHOOL SUPPLIES for area kids and teachers. DONATION BINS will be in the Kroger parking lot. Donation Items: Folders (no prongs), Paper (both copy paper and ruled notebook paper), Markers, Colored pencils, Tissue boxes, Hand sanitizer, Wide-ruled composition books, Disinfectant wipes, Band-Aids, Ziploc bags (any size), Construction paper (any color/any size), Glue sticks, Books Please share this information widely with your networks and encourage others to join us.
