El Cerrito Library - Contra Costa County Library, El Cerrito, California
About
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastian Guerrero were recently killed by ICE in Maine and Texas. We are gathering in the library parking lot to remember them and all those killed by ICE. And, to remind ICE that their actions are unacceptable. Join us for a vigil to demand Justice for Lorenzo. Justice for Johan. Justice for All. ICE Out. *A core principle behind all Disappeared In America events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.* *Please no candles or open flames.*
