About
Governor Shapiro has not taken any meaningful action on the demands of our immigrant communities, which is especially concerning because there’s a child detention center in PA called Abraxas Academy that is currently holding immigrant children and has a history of physical and sexual abuse. The mobilization will be on Wednesday, July 29th, on the Capitol steps in Harrisburg at 11 am. Then we’ll move to the Main Rotunda for a press conference at 2 pm, in which we want to apply or put pressure on the senators to support TPS bills 4814. Join us - if you are in Philly, transportation to and from the Capitol will begin at 6:30 am, provided for free.
