VIGIL and SILENT MARCH 5:15 - 6:30pm Saturday, July 25 - Justice for Lorenzo. - Justice for Johan. - Justice for ALL. First... • VIGIL: 5:15 - 6:00pm 236 Fifth St., Bremerton. Behind Norm Dicks Govt Ctr. On Tuesday, July 7, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Houston, Texas. Then on Monday, July 13, ICE unleashed the same horrific tactics, fatally shooting 26-year-old Johan Sebastian Guerrero when they stopped his vehicle in Biddeford, Maine. This VIGIL will help ensure that Lorenzo’s and Johan’s killings do not fade from public attention and can send a clear moral message: no government agency should be allowed to kill, intimidate witnesses, or operate without independent oversight. Then • SILENT MARCH: 6:00 - 6:30pm ~1/2 mile. Wheelchair accessible. WE: Provide Signs YOU: Dress in Black Participants will march in single-file formation through downtown in BLACK clothing, carrying themed protest signs while accompanied only by the steady heartbeat drum. (Signs provided) Participants march SILENTLY and directly in line with the person in front of them, at a SLOW PACE, emulating a funeral procession (death of our democracy).
