About
The McDowell County Democratic Party will host a Voting Rights Rally on Thursday, August 28, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. in Old Fort across from the arrowhead, and everyone is welcome! This local rally is being held in conjunction with the national Good Trouble Lives On voting rights movement led by the Rev. Al Sharpton and Martin Luther King III, as they gather in Washington, D.C., to reaffirm the importance of protecting the right to vote for all Americans. Bring your friends, family, your favorite sign, and a chair if you'd like one. Join us as we stand together in support of fair and accessible voting rights for everyone. We hope to see you there!
