Overpass Brigade: SAY THEIR NAMES

ICE agents shot dead Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastián Guerrero a week apart, leaving families traumatized and grieving. ICE used the same dishonest "self-defense" excuse they used to justify killing Renee Good in the winter. Even though the Department of Homeland Security finally decided that car stops were a bad idea, Trump overruled them. So murders are likely to continue, since ICE officers -- almost alone among police -- are allowed to step in front of a car. Help Brockton Indivisible put their criminal and tragic deaths in front of our community by presenting a message over rt 24. Be a valuable team member by following the direction of leaders. Become knowledgeable about the details of Overpass Brigades so you can lead one yourself someday. Park on Carrlyn Ave, being considerate of residents and motorists. Wear black if you can. Feel free to bring Say Their Names, ICE Out For Good or related signs for those passing on the main road. American flags are also welcome. We are likely to have a vigil for the two men the next day.
