Candlelight Vigil for All ICE Victims
Saturday, August 1, 2026, 8:00 PM EDT
Collingswood, New Jersey
About
On July 13, ICE agents fatally shot 26-year-old Johan Sebastin Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine- his wife and toddler forced to witness his murder. On July 7, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Houston while driving a work van with his crew. On Saturday, July 25th, vigils were held for both men throughout the United States. But these men were not the only victims of ICE’s lawless brutality. Let’s not forget Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, and Alex Petti, also a 37-year-old intensive care nurse for the US Department of Veterans Affairs, both shot by ICE agents on the streets of Minneapolis. But the list doesn’t stop with these four individuals. In fact, as of Johan’s murder, there have been at least thirty-one ICE-related deaths throughout our country that we know of, and I’m sure there are others of which we haven’t heard. So, on Saturday evening, August 1st, at 8:00 pm in Collingswood, New Jersey, Cooper River Indivisible will be holding a candlelight vigil to remember all thirty-one victims of ICE’s lawlessness. Please join us in remembering these individuals and tell the world these ICE murders MUST STOP! Sign up to let us know you'll be joining us.
