About
Join us to canvass with Hands Off NYC and Assemblymember Tapia Assemblymember Tapia will be hosting a summer resource fair of the community where we would like to bring community defense resources. We canvass so we can bring people into our movement in an accessible way. Not everyone can come to a meeting or commit to a regular shift, but almost everyone can stop for a minute on the sidewalk. Whether someone passing by has 10 minutes or an hour to give, bringing people together in community is what keeps us all safe. Canvassing is one of the simplest, most welcoming front doors we have. Every conversation is a chance to hand someone a tool, answer a question, or remind a neighbor they're not on their own.
