About

Join CODEPINK Los Angeles for a school supply drive and teach-in on Challenging Zionism in Our Schools. We’re pulling back the curtain on how California's censorship bill AB715 has affected educators and how organizations like the ADL use Holocaust education to justify state violence and try to erase Palestine. Our school supply drive will benefit the community of West Adams-Crenshaw and will be distributed to families during the All Power Books Free Grocery Distribution. Suggested list of donation items below. Whether you’re a teacher building a new curriculum, a parent organizing against censorship, or a student finding your voice, you’ll leave with the confidence to advocate for Palestinian liberation and a balanced education in your schools and beyond. Let’s transform our classrooms into sites of truth and acceptance. If you're able to, please bring school supplies to donate! - 3-Ring Binder (2 or 3-inch) - Lined Filler Paper (College Ruled) - Subject Dividers - No. 2 Pencils and Pens (Blue or Black) - Highlighters (Yellow and Multi-color) - Pencil Pouch (that fits in a binder) - Composition Books or Spiral Notebooks - Earbuds / Headphones (with standard audio jack) - Erasers Remember to wear pink!
