About
This a local Indivisible event! Please join us! Where is Congress? Where is NJ/CD-04 Rep. Chris Smith? And where is NJ/CD-02 Rep. Jeff Van Drew? Let's hold these congressmen accountable for their YES votes approving federal budgets that harm the majority of their constituents, as well as for their silence and complicity in the actions of the current administration. We meet on Tuesdays at 12:00-1:00pm NOTE: we're moving to an alternate location of Mathis Plaza, about 1/2 mile south of regular Washington St. location, from August 4 thru the November 3 election. Feel free to bring your signs, instruments, noisemakers, flags etc, and raise your voice to highlight the issues you care most about. Activism is personal. After doing your own research, decide whether this action is right for you. Sign up now and bring a friend! NOTE: This is a peaceful unity rally, please ignore any counter protesters. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
