BABB - Muddy Branch Overpass - Visibility Events

This a local Indivisible event! This a local Indivisible event! Democracy needs your courage - Join us on the Muddy Branch Overpass! Thousands of motorists will pass beneath us, and every wave, sign, and flag is a chance to reach them. Bring your own sign (visible to traffic crossing the bridge), flags, pompoms, or just an enthusiastic waving hand, every bit of energy counts! Getting there: Park at the Festival Shopping Center, near the new car wash. From there, it's a short walk up to Muddy Branch Road and over to the bridge, all on sidewalks and crosswalks. Heads up: there's a moderate hill on the way, so plan accordingly if mobility is a concern. Come prepared: Dress for the weather, and pack sunscreen, water, and a hat we'll be out in the open. A note on safety: If rain or storms are in the forecast, we may need to cancel. Your safety always comes first we'd rather reschedule than take any risks. See you on the bridge, let's be seen and heard! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
