About

This a local Indivisible event! Come join with other community members , to let our neighbors (and tourists, visitors & legislators) know that we are determined to preserve our democracy ! Bring your signs , flags , friends & joyful determination ! (Location changes periodically based on weather & other circumstances, so please share accurate contact info & your name , so that we can notify you if there are any changes .) ***We will not be hosting a visibility event on August 14 & 21 due to summer vacation breaks. *We will return to our regular schedule on August 28 , and then we'll have our big " Hands Across the Hudson" event on August 30 , on the Walkway Across the Hudson. At this time , we are asking for donations of school supplies , e.g. backpacks , #2 pencils , pens , tissues ,notebooks , glue sticks , Texas Instrument calculators TI-84 & TI-30XS , new or used , among other basic school needs. We will be supporting UIDN @ulsterimmigrantdefense school supply drive. Please donate if you are able to . Thanks so much ! We are looking forward to seeing you all , and hope you are enjoying the summer ! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
