SLC Airport Protest -- NO MORE ICE FLIGHTS!
Thursday, August 6, 2026, 8:00 AM MDT
Salt Lake City International Airport, Salt Lake City, Utah
About
Join Uproar Utah and other organizations around the state to protest ICE is increasing its use of flights. On these flights, shackled detainees are transferred from facility to facility within the United States as well as transported to other countries. DHS seems to be using these frequent, often erratic and illogical flight patterns to move detainees out of reach of their loved ones, their lawyers, and due process. Multiple ICE flights each week go through our own Salt Lake International Airport. Join Uproar Utah and other organizations and individuals across Utah in protesting this. We'll be in the designated free speech zone near the baggage claim this coming Thursday, 8/6 from 8AM to 6PM. Come any time in that window for as long or little as you are able.
