Brandon Riverview Chamber of Commerce

**Brandon/Riverview Chamber of Commerce Candidate Connection** Join Team Overman at the Brandon/Riverview Chamber of Commerce's Candidate Connection, formerly known as the Hob Nob, as we connect with voters from across Brandon and Riverview. This community event provides attendees the opportunity to meet candidates, learn about important local issues, and engage with organizations serving the community. Volunteers will play a key role in representing the campaign by staffing the candidate booth, welcoming attendees, distributing campaign literature, engaging voters in conversation, collecting supporter information, and assisting with setup and breakdown. This is a fantastic opportunity to help introduce Kimberly Overman's campaign to hundreds of engaged community members ahead of the primary election. **Volunteer Roles** * Event Setup & Breakdown * Candidate Booth Staff * Voter Engagement * Literature Distribution * Volunteer Recruitment * Photography & Social Media **Event Details** * **Date:** Thursday, August 6, 2026 * **Volunteer Shift:** 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM * **Public Event:** 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (VIP Reception begins at 5:00 PM) * **Location:** The Regent, 6437 Watson Rd, Riverview, FL 33578 Please wear comfortable shoes and campaign attire if you have it.
