About
[PLEASE REPLACE THE TEXT BELOW WITH YOUR SPECIFIC EVENT DETAILS BUT LEAVE THE NON-VIOLENCE CLAUSE IN THE DESCRIPTION - THANK YOU] This a local Indivisible event! We stand/sit with our signs in front of the Denton,TX Social Security office, which is closed when we demonstrate. We've been doing this for over a year and the affirming honks of passing motorists now far outnumber any signs of support for the Trump administration. Persistence pays off! All ages welcome! Here is where you'll describe your local event. Please be specific about important details and include anything a first time attendee, or new group member, might find helpful! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
