Honk and Wave for Democracy

Here’s our Honk and Wave schedule for September. We encourage everyone to join us and hold a sign. We will be at the Veterans Memorial Park on Race Track Road from 4:30 until 6 each Friday in September. Please prioritize your well-being regarding the heat and sun when deciding how long to stay. Even with a small group, our presence is impactful. We will continue to share photos on social media and with national outlets. For instance, I share photos with Robert Hubbell (roberthubbell.substack.com) for his daily newsletter to reach a wider audience—and they are published. We will have some extra signs. Looking forward to seeing you! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
