About
This August recess, join us in meeting with Representative Hillary Scholten's office to urge Congress to invest in climate resilience and protect Michigan communities from the growing impacts of climate change. From heavier rainfall and seasonal flooding to extreme heat and severe storms, West Michigan is already experiencing the effects of a changing climate. Our communities deserve the resources to prepare for these challenges, not just recover from them after disaster strikes. Whether you are meeting with an elected official for the first time or have advocated before, your voice matters. We will provide a briefing on the issues, walk through the agenda together, and support you throughout the meeting. Join us as we call on Representative Scholten to support investments in disaster preparedness, resilient infrastructure, and the federal agencies that help keep our communities safe before the next storm.
