Stand Up for Democracy on Dorset Street on South Burlington

Join friends and neighbors in front of the University Mall on Dorset Street in South Burlington. Show your support for the rule of law, democracy, and the Constitution. Bring a sign, bring a noisemaker, bring a friend. On a Saturday during the busy back-to-school shopping season, the area is sure to be busy. This event is hosted by Champlain Valley Indivisible. The meeting point will be in the University Mall parking lot near the Market St. entrance. We will be standing along the sidewalks on the Mall side of Dorset St. IMPORTANT NOTE: THE SIDEWALKS IN FRONT OF TRADER JOE'S and HEALTHY LIVING ARE PRIVATE SO NO PROTESTING IS ALLOWED THERE! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
