About
Join Elders Climate Action Maryland for a Honk & Wave outside the Connie Morella Library in Bethesda to show Representative Jamie Raskin that Marylanders want bold climate leadership. Even as the climate crisis accelerates and we witness fresh attacks on clean energy programs and climate science, some in Congress are engaging in "climate hushing." A clear majority of Americans believe climate change is caused by human activity and that federal action is urgently needed. That's why we're showing up. Bring a sign, a friend if you'd like, and help us spread the message with a lively roadside demonstration. We'll gather outside the Connie Morella Library to wave signs, earn plenty of honks from passing drivers, and show Representative Raskin that our community is united for climate action. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned organizer, your voice matters. Join us as we build grassroots power and remind Congress that climate action can't wait.
