**March On Washington 2026: Defend the Vote** On Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9am to 1pm, we return to the Lincoln Memorial, the 63rd anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington, to defend the vote, protect equal opportunity, and demand economic dignity. Co-chaired by Rev. Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King III, and Arndrea Waters King, and co-convened by the National Action Network and the Drum Major Institute, joined by a growing coalition of national, labor, faith, and civic partners. The right to vote is under direct attack. This march stands on the same ground as 1963 because the work of that march remains unfinished. 📣Hey, Indivisible members! 📣 We are putting together a bus to go down to Washington DC. When: Leaving Friday, 28th of August - 1am from Collins Circle at SUNY Albany. >>>Returning Friday, 28th of August, 10:00 - 10:30pm.
