Hands Off Our Vote Week 6: MAIL IN BALLOTS

Week 6: October 1 MAIL IN BALLOTS What you need to know about completing, returning and tracking mail in ballots. PLEASE NOTICE CHANGE OF ADDRESS. TYSON St. DOES NOT COME UP ON MAPS. USE 100 NEWHALL STREET ADDRESS! Location: Manavon/Fisher Park Pavilion, 100 Newhall Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 Speakers: Brendan Mattox (Voter Protection Director for CC) and Elizabeth Swain (CC Voter Services) will be speaking at this event! A core principle behind all Indivisible Chester County events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. Join us for a 10-week series focused on preparing for challenges that could affect voting and vote counting in November. Each week we’ll walk through different scenarios, share practical ways to respond, and build the community knowledge and preparation needed to make sure every vote is counted as well as support candidates on the ballot. Whether it’s targeting mail-in voting, interfering with registration programs, blocking vote-counting, it’s going to be no-holds-barred from them this year as they try desperately to block the free and fair elections. But we’re going to cut through the noise, and we’re going to be ready for whatever they try.
