About
Join us on Monday morning, August 17, from 7:30-9:00 AM on the Annandale pedestrian bridge over the Beltway! We will raise awareness for voting in the midterms. Our bridge message will be "R U REGISTERED TO VOTE? CHECK VOTE.ORG". Please wear patriotic colors, bring water/hats, and your own signs if you wish -- please no profanity. We have American flags. Please note pedestrian bridge is a 0.2 mile walk from Audrey Moore Rec Center parking lot (no cars allowed past the parking lot). Please note there have been reports of purse snatching in the park. Use your safe protesting practice: go with a buddy, no dangling purses and be aware of your surroundings. We do alert local police of our activities.
