THIS LABOR DAY PICNIC IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY UNIONS—THE SAME DEDICATED, ORGANIZED, AND VISIONARY FOLKS WHO BROUGHT YOU: The 40-hour week, Overtime pay, Better working conditions, Workplace safety rules, Child Labor Laws, Higher pay for all workers, Quality union craftsmanship, Weekends, Equal pay for equal work, Worker’s rights, Unemployment Insurance, Worker’s Compensation, Pensions, A seat at the bargaining table. Free food, music, beverages and the company of other union brothers and sisters.
