About
Join us on Monday, August 17th, 5-6:30pm on the 7th street pedestrian bridge in Long Beach to spell out messages calling for the end of the poorly planned, senseless, unauthorized war in Iran that is costing lives, raising prices and squandering precious resources, and accountability at the ballot box in the upcoming midterm elections: END THIS STUPID WAR! GRAB EM BY THE MIDTERMS Bring flags and wave to passing vehicles, or drive by to wave and honk in support. We typically have a nice ocean breeze on the bridge, but don’t forget to bring water to stay hydrated on these warmer days! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
