GLOVES OFF KENTUCKY!

ICE has contracted with Lexington/Nicholasville based Compliant Technologies, owned by Jeff Nicklaus, to supply electrified gloves to ICE agents. The world is watching, is this the image of our community that we want promoted? Join Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance and Progress Kentucky as we let everyone know that using torture devices on the streets of American cities does NOT represent our Kentucky values! Find parking on your own at The Summit or Walmart (please respect businesses by leaving the best spots for their patrons). THIS IS A PEACEFUL PROTEST. All attendees are expected to obey traffic laws, practice the principles of de-escalation and leave weapons at home. Don’t leave your anger at the protest! Stay tuned for ways to make sure that Compliant Technologies and our elected officials continue to hear our voices!! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
