Nonviolent Protest Tactics Training

Get Ready for Strategic Nonviolent Action in These Times Learning from the history of people powered movements, particularly the labor movement, we can root our work today in the rich traditions that have come before. We have been fighting for a true multiracial democracy since this country was born, and the forces we are up against are strong. This workshop will ignite your imagination of what is possible, prepare your body, mind, and spirit for what is ahead, and will help build courage and confidence to take the action needed when our democracy, rights and lives are under attack. Light snacks and pizza provided. Feel free to bring additional food to eat during breaks.
