Indivisible San Mateo: Celebrate the March on Washington
Friday, August 28, 2026, 4:00 PM PDT
Domini Hoskins Black History Museum and Learning Center, Redwood City, California
About
Join us on Friday, August 28th, to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s March on Washington. We will meet at the Domini Hoskins Black History Museum and Learning Center for a discussion about Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech and the importance of voting and then march to commemorate Dr. King's March on Washington. Bring your voices and bring your signs to celebrate the most sacred of democratic rights: The right to vote! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
